The Motet Singers have been performing for appreciative local audiences since 1975.  Founded by David Grisafe and now led by David Rasmussen, the twenty members of the ensemble is composed of selected singers from throughout Eastern Kansas.  Rehearsing each week throughout the year, the Motet Singers share their love of choral music by presenting concerts and performing for special events.  In April 2011 they shared their first performance with the Saxophonia Saxophone Quartet, hosted by Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lawrence, Kansas.
